Please note: If you register as a member, or email us your dogs vaccination certificates after midday on a Saturday, you WILL NOT be able to attend class until the following week as a volunteer committee member does need to manually process your membership before you can attend class.

Membership options:

Memberships are available as individual membership or dual membership. Individual memberships are for a single handler who wishes to train one or more dogs. Dual membership is open to 2 handlers that wish to train the same dog.


Membership is open to people over the age of 12 however if under 18, MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.


Registrations are accepted online only, payment is by credit card. Registrations are only open from late January or early February until November. If for some reason you are unable to sign up online please contact us.


All dogs must have at least a C5 vaccination or equivalent, which includes kennel cough and boosters for puppies. Proof of current vaccination certificates (photo or scan) must be emailed to hdoc@live.com.au. Most puppies are covered by 12 weeks of age, however please check with your vet before attending.

Dual: $120

Please note, we do not offer refunds if you cannot attend classes or if you change your mind. Prices listed above are inclusive of Race Roster service fees and payment processing fees.

Vaccination Certificates

A current C5 (or equivalent) vaccination certificate must be sighted by HDOC officials for all dogs prior to training. Certificates must be scanned or photographed and emailed to hdoc@live.com.au prior to training. Your dog will not be allowed to train until a current vaccination certificate has been received.

Club training rules


  • All members must wear their membership nametag when attending HDOC activities
  • A valid dog vaccination certificate (C5 minimum with kennel cough) must be provided via email to hdoc@live.com.au (each year). Your dog will not be allowed to train until this has been sighted.
  • Members must dress appropriately to attend any HDOC activities, this includes wearing closed heel and toe footwear i.e. No thongs
  • In season, sick and/or injured dogs are not allowed to attend HDOC activities.
  • Dogs must remain on lead at all times unless engaged in an off-lead exercise under direct HDOC instructor supervision and permission
  • Dog droppings must be immediately picked up and placed in the bin provided.
  • Smoking is not permitted at HDOC activities.
  • All incidents must be immediately reported to a HDOC committee member or instructor to be officially recorded. Please see the HDOC Dog Behaviour Policy and Incident Reporting Guidelines (see links below) for more information
  • The use of spiked or electronic collars is strictly forbidden unless approved by HDOC committee and instructors under special circumstances
  • Children under the age of 18 years of age must be under supervision at all times whilst at HDOC activities
  • All members must sign the HDOC attendance book prior to the commencement of each class
  • Members are not permitted to enter the Haven Primary School grounds or the Haven Tennis Club courts
  • Dogs cannot be tethered at any time on club grounds during HDOC activities. HDOC has club crates that can be borrowed by members during HDOC activities if required
  • If the weather forecast maximum on the day of a HDOC activity is between 30-33°C sessions will be shorter to limit the stress on the dogs.
  • HDOC activities will be cancelled if the weather forecast maximum for the day is 34°C or above
  • Members must adhere to the HDOC Social Media and Internet Policy (see links below)
  • If instructed by a HDOC committee member or instructor, a prescribed space jacket (hi-vis vest) must be worn. Failure to do so will result in suspension from all HDOC activities.
  • Mistreatment of any kind will not be tolerated
